A World Of Borders Poem by james watkin

A World Of Borders

These borders, all but withholding
In rival fervours, flames
What, first singe, turn all to ash in
Leaping up and over.

But man-made, mapped; in what outline
Divisive conditions.
World-sunned, your warmth thus incline;
Love's genial, higher.
