An interesting write Raj. The only thing we are certain of, is that our body dies. Socrates said I do not fear death, for it is either a nothingness, or a transmigration for our soul. I look at life as the energy of consciousness, energy never dies just moves on in a different form. So I guess we never really die. Thank you for your enjoyable contribution to the never ending puzzle of life and death. Bob
A clarification for my readers! The last two lines are adaptation from Lord Byron's dramatical monologue titled - 'ANDREA DEL SARTO ': - 'AH, BUT A MAN' REACH SHOULD EXCEED HIS GRASP, OR WHAT'S HEAVEN FOR? ' To answer Ejaz Khan's rhetorical question; true no one has yet come back from the world of the dead to narrate! So your guess is as good as mine! Thanks!
For a man’s dreams should exceed his grasp, Or what’s a Heaven for? ! wonderful words....nicely written poem, carrying lot of weight in it. read my poem called BEYOND which deals with something similar
Dreams shouldn't cease just because one is dead! Seriously speaking, I liked the ideas in this poem.
Nice composition, of the world in between, lfe and death, see also my 'Be Eternal' samew subject matter, Thanks for sharing.10
What makes you certain that that world really exists and is not just an illusion or wishful thinking? A thought provoking write though!
i agree with what Bob says there...that's what both Vedic philosophy and Modern science advocate about death dream and life...a good write...thanks...10
