A unique and interesting poem. Chess has been my favorite game even when I was a child. I still play whenever I have the time. But sometimes it is hard to find an opponent who is willing to spend time . It is wonderful to know that the great Poetess plays the game too. Kim Barney is indeed great in playing chess. I have read some of his poems that dwell on this game. A well crafted and conveyed write.
