A Wooden Doll Poem by Nanashino Ryu

A Wooden Doll

A hand looked down on an arm.
'I'm so skillful, and very useful.
Your shape is only straight.
You can grasp nothing, you can make a nothing'
After the arm was in a bad feeling,
the palm and fingers have shriveled.
