The dreams of the years gone now subdued
In the wake of reality that descends
Like waves after waves on the shore

Having loved then for years and years The lover, the husband, brother and son Still in search of recognition of my love In the man’s hand is my piece of bread //.... Great poem reflecting the hypocrisy of our male dominated society and the real status of woman through the ages. This poem is a favourite of mine now. Thanks.

‘Love’s mast is the only way to sail/Through the murky waters’ ~ Brilliant lines …are sparkling in mist world with kaleidoscopic velour…wiping out all pallor ‘Rise women of the world for let’s change the destiny…’ we women always on our ‘Highs’ but time immemorial gender bias well all you know… congrats for sharing Ms. Nivedita UK 10/10

a very compassionate poem speaking on behalf of women. its a man's world, and all the education, financial independence and multi tasking not much has changed in the male dominated society. 10 please read Celebrating Women's day and Dare to dream if you find time- same theme from a women's perspective. Dear poet SadiqullahIn, you have a brave voice telling sharply the truth ('in man’s hand is my piece of bread) and the revolutionary declaration ('Rise women, change the destiny') . Further. I believe that Peace in the 21st century will be a case in the hands of women. I give you a 10. Go on with same poems to change planet's fate! being a woman i would like to tell you that your work is simply a presentation of woman not bold enough. Excepting the fact that some women have com through the whole way of thrones to success there are stil a great majority who found it difficult to overcome the struggles in the male dominated soceity

When a woman speaks, a man has to listen to. Really a man knows the needs of a woman. Sometimes he forgets his needs as well as hers. This poem is a tribute to a woman, but it is an urging to a man, too.

So much tenderness in your expression here! It seems you could take the place of a woman, whoever she can be, wherever she can live, and analyze her very sincere thoughts about how life goes in a certain part of human reality. The soft flow of the rhythm, with no abrupt transition, is like the flow of counsciousness of a mind considering her life and life in general with a kind of dispassionate look, the look of a woman who no more fights emptily against things but, understanding how things go, has bet on love as the best way to act. A deep wish for true love -with full meaning- to be heard, whether it comes from women... or men. 10+!
