Nice lyrics Barry. I guess I heard this poem as I read it. They rhyme scheme flows like a country love song. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing. Love is complicated, but the song is simple. I like the juxtaposition. And again, only a few seasons, not all four. I kind of like that approach. Leaves some hope for the other seasons....
I actually wrote this while undergoing chemo and having auditory hallucinations of music. I wrote a bunch of song lyrics during that time but this was one of the best. Thank you for the comment, I am very glad you could hear the music within the poem.
