A Winter Farewell Poem by james watkin

A Winter Farewell

Sun, both in face, and its glow
Having not seen all day
Chills more for what, twilight-darker
Lays Death over.

As a friend, unforgotten
Mark your passing away
Through this abtruse feeling instead
Of inner dread.
