A Wind's Call, Shoreward Poem by james watkin

A Wind's Call, Shoreward

As much life's reliever
As its refresher
Ear-bent to this wind's seductive call
Shoreward, as ever

Teases: 'Each sail, that's wrought
Of a careworn thought
Here, re-hoist. Till out of reckoning
Time drifts as it ought'.
