Dave, here at number 3, I wasn't expecting the ending although it does make sense as per the cycle of life and alternation of generation. As a series of poems it also reminds me a bit of the great British TV show Life on Mars, which is a good thing. Thanks for the journey.

I've read all the parts of 'A window of time' and this one reminds of someone who has gone through intensive care ordeal, abandoned by everyone... Can poetry bring relief to people who experience these things? Would they be pleased if they read few verses devoted to them? Thank you for the heartfelt read...
