A Wild Beast Poem by SRIRANJI ARATISANKAR

A Wild Beast

Rating: 4.5

Just a few moments ago
Biting my neck with sharp teeth dragged me
in a shadowy shrubbery.

Sucking blood, gulping flash
and crunching my bones left me there...

Lo! see there gradually disappearing
oh! it is gone! crossing the west-river
mingled with the twilight.

My amour, a wild beast
Foredooming me left me forever....
