I do like the way you describe the situation- it is mind-blowing. I love this...... she goes about her routine, cooks her stew for one butters her bread, and sits at the table staring at an empty chair longing for conversation It makes me be able to reach the feeling you are trying to convey. In short, your poem is very glorify :)

Nice description of the widow's last day. The imagery stirs the heart. And finally when she is at peace next to her lover soothes the troubled mind. At so young an age when you can write so wonderfully I think you'll rise to great heights in the poetry world. With all best wishes for the budding poet.

Love it! I myself love a more melancholy poem myself, but you ended it in way that a person couldn't help but smile a bit after reading it. Again great job, keep on writing!
