A Warning Poem by Nadim Poems

A Warning

A warning.
In the Beginning there was nothing,
And Love created everything.
In the unseen, a state of infinite stillness and silence prevailed,
A world with ethereal wonders would be unveiled.
A divine jigsaw was being designed,
For eternal souls with blind minds.
Consciousness has to arise,
And eternal life was the prize?
The void was split into day and night,
Darkness has to give way to light.
Out of eternity space and time came to be,
An endless universe for you and me.
Living and seeing what came to be,
A sublime masterpiece as far as the eyes can see.
Awe and wonder with a firestorm of emotions,
Should have only brought gratitude and infinite devotion.
Trapped in this realistic and deceptive illusion,
That brought only despair and confusion.
Scatterbrains drowning in alien concepts and entrenched in selfhood,
Souls going back 'home' became a remote likelihood.
And what was ment to be a two way trip,
Became an egoistic abysmal slip.
A downfall into nightmares with never ending screams,
And the dreamer could not wake up from the dream.
The human miracle cannot last forever,
Something has to be done it is now or never.
Awaken the world and don't defer,
Otherwise human extinction will occur.
