Subject matter wonderful. but it is your unerring sense of rhythm that brings the beauty of the concepts to sparkling life. Pity we can't give you more than a tenner! where sunbeams dance upon my hand... a delightful line among many. Tom Billsborough

I too dream of paradise as a Christian and hope for that day in which the Lord shall come in his glory..,full of splendour to take us with him.... the poem is well delivered and the descriptions well made....thought John the Beloved was giving another revelation till I remembered I was on Poemhunter....... well done

I absolutely love this poem. I relate to it so much, I used to imagine my own paradise, or I would call it neverland, and make it my reality :)

This is a perfect poem. I use that word boldly because no other word conveys how wonderfully shaped and felicitously expressed your poem comes across to the reader. Each stanza is fully realized in meter, rhyme, rhythm and imagery, and the whole poem is completely convincing. This is the kind of imaginative experience only poetry can make real. We have been conditioned to think that paradise comes AFTER everything else, that we should not expect in this lifetime. Your poem dispels that bias and gives us paradise here and now!
