At a foreign soil if a fruit or vegetable is seen that is associated with the native land particularly with our childhood, the joy of watching it or eating it becomes a source of recollecting the past memories. Just by reading-'Jungle jalebi' I reached in my childhood. A nice lovely write.

From the alien shore, memories travel back to your native land and also to the days of childhood.... Adaptability is man's greatest gift... and finally you are able to embrace the new world as your own! A beautiful poem Savita! I watched the lavender bushes with their mauve-blue spikes And breathed their delicious mint fragrance Fanned in the air through palm leaves Curls of red berries on a native tree Looked like copper rings blazing in fire I too enjoyed all these scenes! !
