What an unusual past time to walk in the graveyard but it brought back a memory of me studying for my school exams in a graveyard. People hopes and dreams sometimes never come to fruition and if we live a long time many of our friends whom we've helped along the way may have already passed so I see the sadness in the loneliness at the end and the legacy may not be shared with those you know. Even in our lonely good-bye we take the love in our hearts with us. Thank you for sharing this poem, it most certainly promoted a lot of thought in me, I do appreciate Shankaran.....

This is like that of a pilgrim's progress..... moving past graves one by one and finally arriving at the conclusion that worldly gains are so transient and death is the only ineluctable reality of life! Those who realize this and live accordingly will become heirs to imperishable wealth in the other life! Greatly enjoyed the poem!
