This sounds like a homecoming, of a reunion and a rediscovery of truths partially forgotten but now fully restored. I'm reminded of the lines at the of Eliot's FOUR QUARTETS: The end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time. It's the journey out and away, and then circling back that makes such appreciation possible. Your poem makes this truth live again, makes it more than Eliot's direct statement, makes it vibrant with feeling. The repeated THEIR LOVE is ecstatic, cathartic. What a grand effusive climax for your poem!

A very beautiful poem filled with nostalgic loneliness and the so very burning desire to be with loved ones again. Poignant and lovely.
