Apart from sea sickness, tha sailor is always home sick also, as he remains most of the time in all the waters of the world. Well composed.

O' ye mermaids splashed across yon rocks... For do they sing their song-Afar be the star'ved loches. Minstrel ladies sing aloud...Sailor's ahoy-Bounding through. Time away spent fro' drowning boats...Fear all fear fro' foaming floats. Rocky jagged ladies be...Assaulting men of shell-uh-by. Ears so hammered to what deafness? ...Loving guy, that hath left us. Widowed women on the shore...No more man to be-of moore. Alas thy blue-ened lads begone...Never to be beyond my dawn. Great write. God bless us all-MJG.

Your emotions are so heartfelt in this piece of work. The first line is so appropriate too. Your imagery is so vivid e.g. 'screaming mermaids of the ocean'. The message of hope rounded the poem of beautifully. Excellent! 10 from me

A nice rhythm seems to run through this and the poets voice seems to hover above all as an accompaniment to emotions images.

There is always hope even in the darkess minutes...a whirlwind, a maelstorm and all the turbulence in our lives will never extinguish the light of the soul which lives eternally.Another ten....

Wonderful weaving of verse on sea voyage adventure reminds me of Bermuda's Triangle, the Caribbean Whirlpool encountered by ships and the miraculous escape only by the chosen one capable of saving the mermaids! Indeed after the adventure the chosen one will enjoy love of a kind nobody has enjoyed so far, I think! A puzzle for many but it is a thrill for me reading your poem of this kind!

I can see the sailor's cry in this poem to reach the shore safely against all odds.
