A Very Long Word Poem by Shaun Cronick

A Very Long Word

Rating: 5.0

I need to write a quatrain,
Without a very long word.
Like antidisestablishmentarianism,
For that would be absurd.

Yes that would be absurd, a rhymed word with quatrain, like rain, or vain would fit much better. Your tongue is very firmly in your cheek here Shaun, I think, as you highlight the pretentiousness of much modern poetry. It's a fun packed five from me!

A brilliant and a great Poet can always create a poem so unique and fascinating. And this poem is one of them. A product of the versatility of a pen. A unique write cleverly penned. Five Stars!

Nice. It is a very long word. Not sure if it is still the longest though. New words are coming up like POETING...the act of doing poem.
