It could be funny if it wasn't such an anchor to progress. Here in the states, these egotistical parasites are our royalty. An entire season is dedicated to Award shows. Some of these vacuous morons go on to become governors and presidents. Everyone should be awarded the medal of outstanding stupidity for putting up with it.
