A Tug Of War Poem by Namita Rani Panda

A Tug Of War

Rating: 5.0

The utensil piled in the kitchen
cry for immediate attention
while on the table paper and my pen
keep waiting for me to pour out my emotion,
the pressure cooker on the stove whistles again and again
while the fresh ideas in mind are impatient for explosion,
the clothes turn round and round in the washing machine
while the whirlwind of my imagination lures to take me beyond
the empyrean,
and in this war of push and pull I am never torn
as I know what to do when as life goes on.

when we are out to work, all stand still in the household, BUT once at home and free, then these whirling thoughts start to talk, but indeed we as busy poets can stand all these and in this war of push and pull I am never torn as I know what to do when as life goes on.EXACTLY! 5 Stars full on Top
