Ahmad, you place your words with skill, this tragedy that causes so much harm, can also cause more hate, and so the cycle continues until we all learn to replace hate with love, no matter what happens. Thank you, i have also written about this in my poem 'A Slaughter of the Innocents'.

I can not say I 'enjoyed' this poem. It is tragic an occurrence that is freshly pictured with such a vivid depiction. You do have a way of 'wrenching' guts! lol...and, for a writer that's a good thing. What an emotionally 'connected' 'piece' you have written. Terrific, yet somber as it is meant to be.

India has seen battles and grief, blood and gore, sacrifices and heaps of martyr's numbed bodies...pain is not new to her...but always she has prevailed against all odds...its in her spirit..in her name...which propells men to die for her...and when time comes we all will be read with our kafan in one hand and face death happily for her.....Thanks for this poem!

Extraordinary, Ahmad. Beautiful, eloquent and most appropriate. The last line is especially poignant. Smiles are indeed irreplacable. Warmest regards, Sandra

Very powerful and timely message. You try to pour out all the grief, compassion, empathy, hope and so many other feelings that you can. These lines will be asked over and over: 'Why do they always kill? /Why should they force a will? ' So much besides lives are destroyed. The destruction continues. We were created to be co-creators and not destroyers.

Why are these people killing humanity. The poem is a great tribute, and bridges the gap of nations, strengthening the same thread, of humanity.

The deep shock at the world's continuing merciless inhumanity is brought out forcibly in this poem. We ought to remember this much longer than than fickle folk usually do.........best wishes from a grieving Cornish poet - Fay.
