Whatever you have said in this poem is the reality of life. Very well said with very gooduse of aliteration. You have measure up life in beautifully balanced meter with perfect rhyme and rhythm. Loved it.

Alas, what stays behind Are those deeds that come to mind Embedded so that they Always seem to say, 'Forgive and forget. Never. No matter how clever You may try to be Through the veils we all can see The dark side of your life That remains cause of the strife Your misdeeds bring for sure To your fellow travelers no matter how pure.' Written with politicians in mind. s
