An artist, whether a painter, a writer, a poet, a singer He soaks his heart into his favourite form of art The visualizations – give a great cover up... Looks not with eyes but the inner senses. Sunflower, an emblem of constancy … Painter's variableness being tied to this passion. Van Gogh, whose unhappiness, uncertainty filled life Hidden behind the vibrant colour of sunflower. Good dipiction. Thank you dear poet.
I admire and appreciate the dedication you show there in paying a rich tribute to the great Dutch painter by writing on his biograhy through well composed lyrical lines...great effort Raj...thanks...10
An eloquent tribute to Van Gogh and his glorious sunflowers. So sad that his physical life came to such a tragic end. But he has achieved immortality in his paintings. Thank you for reminding us of that.10/10 Warm wishes, Sandra
Raj, thank you for this informative poem on Van Gogh, I found it interesting. I have a rolled up print of one of his sunflower paintings waiting to be framed. I can see you are a man of many interests. Whether we paint with a brush, words or music to create a mood, the effect is just the same. regards Bob
Interesting details of a greast artist reveals your artistic zeal! Keep it up!
The arts go hand in hand....poetry /painting/dancing etc. and I like the way you extend your interests to embrace other arts as well as poetry. I have always been fascinating by Van Gough's art, but had no idea he had painted so many works of art and the history is fascinating. Thank you Raj for once again giving us information on a complex man of pure genius I believe. 10 love Karin
