in the picture, you can see 'Forte Belvedere' [in the upper left side] and the Walls that run from there to the city.. You should take a walk there.. it's great.. ;)

Simply Superb. In spite of being translation ii's flavor is that of an original poem. Thanks for sharing the lovely poem.

.. you can see a number of olive-pickers, truly ''Outside Florence's walls'' - especially if you walk around the hill of San Miniato [the panorama is simply wonderful from the church of S. Miniato, on top of the hill]; and along the line of walls in 'Oltrarno', down from the 16th century Forte Belvedere.. - but they truly pick the olives.. ;) _________________________
