A Translation: ' Ad Uno Brutto' (A Poem By William Cowper)

Che è il tuo naso, tu possa scorgere;

On An Ugly Fellow (From The Greek) - Poem by William Cowper

Beware, my friend! of crystal brook,
Or fountain, lest that hideous hook,
Thy nose, thou chance to see;
Narcissus' fate would then be thine,
And self - detested thou wouldst pine,
As self - enamoured he.

you're right, Anil, this William Cowper's short poem is indeed a little gem. Sort of divertissement, so I thought to have it translated into Italian.. :)
