Michael, We both love books. You have your library very well organized. I have over 3000 books in my basement. I try to group them by subject. About 500 chess books, then many on the American Civil War, Utah history and what ever else catches my eye. To My Poem List and rate another " 10"

You have many more books than me. I organise my books into types, so that I can find them easily. It is like a mini-library. I don't know how many books I have sold, or given away. I am interested in the Civil War also.

Poetry books occupy the middle shelf, being between fiction and nonfiction or both in the same poem. If a poet writes about himself, as Frank O'Hara did, it should be true and not fiction as far as possible.....so impressive. Beautiful poem on your bookcase. Thanks for sharing.

You have noticed the main point, thanks so much. Is poetry fiction or nonfiction?

I have noticed that your poems are mostly true, nonfiction. A safe way to write I think.

Great passion that you have for books is on display in this poem. Your bookcase also shows a character. Thanks for taking the reader along for an introduction to your favourite books, authors and artists. I too have a similar library at home spread into two bigger bookcases and two smaller cases but finding a particular book becomes tedious sometimes.

Thanks again. I revised the version which you probably saw. I hope it is better.
