just as there is the last rose of summer, the beauty fowhat is last for the season or for life. these are someof the images we keep in our memories and in our heart. the certain subtleness of what tsands out and reaches to us. to become thatverbal photograph that you share with us, It was quite a beautiful image, I love in Florida, but grew up in New York until middle age, i remember winters and there are those images that i keep in my memory. A definite 10 sandra

.....The last rays of an old sun warm the bones, Paint glamor on the windows of the soul. I want to be a part of your stanza, Forever and a winter, if I may..... Sandra, I pray you do live for MANY winters, summers, and spring.... The poem sure does reflect the passing of time...richly passed, tho its autumn... Cheers. Subroto

simple, humble, and lovable! ! ! it reminds me of many beauties of art such as Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky's 'Snowflakes Dance of The Nutcracker Ballet', William Shakespeare's sonnets and stanzaic poems, Alfred Sisley's painting 'Snow on the Road Louveciennes', and Robert Frost's champion of winter scene poems. keep writing! ! !

My Dear Sandra, your love and longing for friends, friendships and winter is eternal. May you live many many winters! ! You seem to be on the peak of your poetic journey in this poem. A very compact poem, like a white capsule with a colorful warming, soothing substance inside.........10/10. Warmest Regards Naseer
