A Throwaway World. Poem by Peter Vealey

A Throwaway World.

The drink can lay carelessly,
Abandoned!
On a path to a hospital.
Like symbols of a decadent age.
Throwaway, wasteful.
We inhabit,
Whether we like it
Or not!
