A thousand flowers

And not even one haiku

Garden went to waste

Χίλια λουλούδια

κι ούτε ένα χαϊκού

Κρίμα τον κήπο

A poem of great depth and simplicity. Yes, sometimes the beauty of things is never appreciated. They are just taken for granted. Wonderful haiku.

gardens often 'go to waste', but the 'waste', and water, and a bit of 'love' (sometimes helpful) causes the garden to flourish once again in the Spring. a rose by any other name will still be a rose, never a haiku! i like flowers but prefer vegetable gardens. bri :)

A thousand flowers make a beautiful garden in our mind weither a haiku is born or not. The picture will always be there! Lovely and says so much is so little words! Love your writings!

Indeed beauty deserves to be captured and immortalized through poetry. A deep haiku saying a lot in a few words.
