I was too busy doing what i wanted to,
I had no time to notice you.
In a hurry, i use to rush by,
always failing to notice a small tear trickling down your eye.

A very good realization after all...forgive and forget, that's all it takes. Fantastic!

this very typical adoloscent behaviour pattern...and we learn a great deal from it if only we internalise the process and that's what you just did. i love to read poetry written by youngsters...keep writing dear young poet...my son is also born the same year, same month!

Emotionaly charged, perhaps the final verse could be softened a little. But otherwise well done.

I could feel the remorse in your words, and I believe you reading it out to your parents, maybe on your knees, will make your mom (esp.) , the first to forgive and give you a hug.

I like the theme Tanvi but why do you not just use normal words. You sound like a normal teenager to me. You write in modern freeform poetic prose have you ever tried to write using metre and rhyme. I am sure your parents will be glad to know how you feel

suggestion: you always asked me how was my day, = you always asked me how my day was, the contents are the emotion from the experience of every man. neatly penned 10

I know how this realisation makes you feel; You think under the pressure you will reel. But little one, you made it up to them without knowing how to; The cliched word sorry has immense power to things undo.

The ones we take for granted are the ones we always miss the most when the leave us, it's good that some of us realise how much they mean before it's too late... a very cleverly worded poem... and rings of truth! ! ! I rate this poem 10

all i want right now is for you to forgive me. I know i never did the things you wanted me to, ..........simply wonderful exposition purity by heart , yet eloquence flows by the penitence wrought by ingenuity deserving 10+++, thanks for sharing

Wonderfully touching poem, been there myself.. Still forget to say sorry sometimes after a fight but they're your parents and love you and will forgive you and would probably still do anything for you and it would most likely mean the world to them to see that you do care and do appreciate them :)
