I use the word floored, when love knocks me down. I am an old boxer at heart, and have tasted the canvas many times. You can take the boxer out of the ring, but his hands never come down. I reread the poem, countdown takes a lifetime is a strong line, for once we are in love, our guard is always down. Do we give our heart or is it stolen? Interesting thought and great poem.
