A Thank You Sent Poem by Robert Hilary

A Thank You Sent

The stars are bright,
the wind, blows cool.
the sky is etched,
with a bottomless blue.
The earth seems quiet,
as if withholding breath.
and many a slumber,
in their evening rest.
The chill is sharp,
yet not too bold.
the night, not young.
yet not too old.
a good night,
it seems to be.
engulfed in darkness,
at every seam.
the simple wonder, of knowing not.
when you remember, what you've forgot.
and in that moment. you can see.
the truth, the lies, the history.
and behold. who you are.
you arise, and here you are.
the secret, comes when you know.
that you create, what you behold.
and that is how, I see this night,
and in this poem. i trot down the sight.
to remember, the time well spent.
and with a memory, a thank you sent.

~Goodnight <3~
