In the end Karmatic laws reverberate in life, she has learned to let go of her oppressors cruelty, she knows who she is and does not need anyone to judge her. An AMAZING poem!

That was a thought that had never occurred to me, at least in such a logical reasoned way. It really has merit. Love does inherently come with chains... of duty, of hurtability [yes I know it's not a word], of keeping track of who owes who what. At first I was taken aback, but the more I think about it... yes, love can be a burden in its accountability.

I was so terribly moved by the brilliant message this poem imparts to us. I think anyone who finds themselves utterly alone in their existence should read this amazing little gem. Szymborska was a great philosophical poet.
