A Tentative Trimeric Poem by Mary Champion

A Tentative Trimeric

This form is so contrived
it's a wonder it's survived -
the intricate design,
the placing of each line.

It's a wonder it's survived -
its structure and its scheme
are a masochistic dream.

The intricate design
will strain your cranial circuits
while questioning the purpose.

The placing of each line
is critical and crucial -
though I doubt it's very useful.
