A Teen Widow
Each drop of tears, she sheds
Reflected memories of joy and pain
That she had shared with her husband
Who was now, transformed into eternal light forever.
Her husband's posthumous gold medals
Hanged in wall, reminded glory of his victory.
She has to live to revive sentiment associated with it
No matter state and his own family have forgotten him.
Each night sounds darkness of despair for her
She cries feeling herself in grip of husband
Awakes in mid night, to watch alone star in sky.
Pain and grief of a virgin widow, how can she describe.
She feels proud to be a beloved of martyr
But still assures herself unlucky for missing him.
Trapped emotion explodes and flows with tears
A wife of warrior now, needs to conquer her own life.
