The superb imagery coupled with wonderful words and thoughts transport a reader to a different time and place and made him /her a witness of a beautiful scene. Yet, the poignancy of this write made us feel the hurt and longings of a teen aged widow. War will drastically change a beautiful life into loneliness and meaningless life. A deeply moving and touching poem.

War and its worst effect. Young war widows could be a national pride but at whose loss that pride succeeds? . Life is cruel indeed. You build up the dual contrasting images much poetically in the poem 10+

Furthermore, when I delve deep with an analytical perspective, I find that each line articulates piteousness of the girl....you have perfectly sketched the portrait....just immaculate! I have already taken it to MyPoemList
