A Tear From You Fear Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

A Tear From You Fear

A star
A tear
From you fear
You throw:
My love let my head
Rest on you, dear.

And
Let the nights
Season and place
Despite
Be nights of love.

We
We two are here.
We
We two love so
That Earth's heart
To tenderness be moved.
And
Though the chains be
Not yet cut
A star
A tear
From you fear
You throw:
My love let my head
Rest on you, dear.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

This is so tender, and the experience of Love evokes tenderness and sustains. And your poem - and others you've recently written - do something else which is especially blessed: the positive emotions you and your beloved express to each other pass into the ambient air and they are carried by mysterious currents around the planet and offer their positive energy to heal, console, uplift, even redeem those in need of natural grace. It's all true. Here's a closing passage from KISMET: LOVERS COME AND LOVERS GO, AND ALL THAT THERE IS TO KNOW, LOVERS KNOW, ONLY LOVERS KNOW!
