A Tear For The Worker (Part 2) Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

A Tear For The Worker (Part 2)

Rating: 5.0

A tear drop
For your worn out dresses
And bent shoes
Of better days gone

A tear for you
Who rebuke the kids
For their cries of necessities
And their mother's
Who has to be a mother

A drop for you too
Who trek long distances
To work and return back to meet
The light disconnected
And quit notice
From the landlord.
