A teacher is a teacher
because of the students
who foster the best
bringing it to forefronts
opening up floodgates of thoughts
to a consciousness new
urging mind to take challenges
when life floats in confusion's dew;

a teacher not only feeds facts
as per the official syllabus
but also heals racked minds
in distress, in states ominous,
overcoming the digital divide
during days of pandemic virus,
teaching not only the text
but also how to handle hard times
with intelligence of a genius
and live life in tune with outside
with love of nature so glorious.

The most intelligent among them
taught me how to prepare better
with accent on the ambiguous,
the most beautiful inspired lines
about mystery how to grow curious
and naughty ones too taught me
how to relax with things humorous.
