Your poems would be enjoyed and understood by one unfamiliar with the English language - such is the musicality of your verse. You play your words like a master musician and lift the spirit of the reader with the glorious sound. Another poetic prelude to treasure. love, Alison ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Typo period in line 6, I think. Love the last line which I consider a statement of noetic theology being the spiritual but not necessarily the religious. Bill Grace

How beautiful! Existence and human love are woven into one subtle, lovely tapestry. It seems to me, time is a shadow, spilling and reaching over all!

Very nostalgic...and I love the title. You certainly have captured the 'Taste Of Going' with your lovely wording of sentimental thoughts. It's sad but beautiful all at the same time.

I love the way your poems engage the senses and draw the reader back to specific places, people, past experiences, or revelations in time. Your poetry is grounded. I like that. I love the line 'The taste of going is the taste of wine.' This is a thought provoking poem. Great write!

Truly evocative of the sense of this life slipping away. Sharpening of senses, the sweetening of all its flavours. Top quality writing.

Home is, perhaps, always westward. 'The glamor of the sun on old tin roofs' leads on to the evening - autumn? - vision. This is an admirable blend of imagery, mood, alliteration, consonance, and rhyme - and heart. A draught of Hippocrene nectar, indeed. - Will
