I like the tenderness in this, Bharati, the depth of your feeling as it comes across. - Glen
All these years! ! ! ! Hustle and bustle! Musing along! ! ! Changes and challenges; Life's journey. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
Feeling of love is well executed. It appears in between laughter and tears. True love has no distance. Body may apart but love is so real and soul is tagged with other. I cite... When you and me interchange souls All distance become no distance, As all tears turn into pearls. Beautifully inscribed.
How distant have you gone When you pervade my whole being? When you and me interchange souls All distance become no distance, ..................... True friendship stays in tact, though friends may stay apart for sometime. But all distance will be bridged as long as their souls are bonded together in love. In weal and woe good friends will stick to us and in our life of joy and pain, they stay as pillars of support! Beautifully written!
i found this deeply touching, bharati, even if it is a " fantasy." of course i resonate with the idea that life is, as i often think of it, bittersweet. the standout line for me is " as tears turn into pearls." —cool! -glen
All distance become no distance, As all tears turn into pearls....... touching expression with lofty theme. Beautiful poem. Thanks for sharing.10
Though you may call it poet's fantasy I think in real life we need friends not only to acknowledge what we do is good or bad but to support us guide us and lend their shoulders when needed, Share a laughter and spend quality time together. A thoughtful poem on the subject.10++
Thankyou very much M'am, for sharing, such a lovely and heart touching poem
Poetic fantasies cannot be totally fantastical. There must be some clue attached to it. 'When you and me interchange souls All distance become no distance, As all tears turn into pearls' - that's fantastic, and a reality as well. 5 Stars***** for this poem.
