The narrow stream moves through the woods
Tripping and falling over pebbles and boulders
Chiming its silver anklets

A brilliant and touching inscription on stream in the woods has been made by you. I enjoyed each line as amusing line. I want to cite some lines here.....Drowning the whisper of bamboo leave / Its sweet murmur falls in my ears As an eternal living melody / The cosmic song heard over eons. I may visit it again. Thank for sharing with attractive graphic.

Wow! In the other poem of yours that I just read (forgot the title already - - - BESIDE A BROOK or something similar) you compared a stream to a snake, and now you compare it to a toddler! Your imagination is boundless, my friend, as that of a true poet should be! Congratulations! (What other treasures have I been missing by ignoring your work for too long?)

But if nature has done little to prettify its beauty you have done wonders to sanctify nature in high esteem.....Valsa Great imagination and great piece of work as usual......Thumbs up... Valsa.......I am sorry I could not write and read and imagine as I was doing previously as I am not keeping good health nowadays. Kindly do inspire me whenever I contribute something of a poem worth reading though I may not be as good as other poets are

What a great wonders of nature..the stream is clear like a crystal clear keeps on flowing till they reach to the sea.The streams maybe blurry cause by the rain but the stones and pebbles might help to clear the water again until they reach the ocean..2 thumbs up Miss Valva

Perfect! I was enchanted from the get go! The connection between the movements and sounds of a stream with the movements of a toddler was so unique and...excuse my repetition... perfect! ! You can take your reader for a walk anytime anywhere and they will feel as if they have been there done that! ! An incredible magical journey, my dear poet- Thoreau would have been jealous of your descriptive skills [I know I am! ] 10 +++++++++++++++++++

A brook springing out in the wood, after a spell of drought like, rippling and meandering down the ground, smiling, humming, whispering murmuring, and even singing, soothes our hearts. Melody it plays so appealing and absorbing imaginably even that it resounds and reverberates in our ears. Thanks Valsa, for sharing the sensational poem.X

The visualization of a stream of water with such minute details makes this a delightful read. Moreover the reader itself is made to visualize the whole journey. Loved this poem.

Thank you Valsa for carrying me on this pilgrim's journey and reminding me of the many times I have sat listening and gazing at small streams. I loved arriving at the small pool with feathered friends to share an appreciation of the little stream.

Chiming its silver anklets, Drowning the whisper of bamboo leaves, Never willing to surrender before hurdles, With a bearing immaculate in Grace, yours is a poem of innocence, children's games, music, athleticism, even faith in God's purpose, seeing God in nature. A fine poem indeed!
