Mirror is an effective tool that can reflect our hidden emotions....It is not just a bodily reflection but our own consciousness staring at us...It is true, it becomes extremely difficult to meet eyes with our reflection when we do not have a clear conscience! ! ! ! ...good write! ! ! ! ! !

The splendid title mirrors beautifully the poetic subject of this poem - one which is both insightful and elusive. Your final stanza is very fine indeed, but the middle of the poem says too much, I believe. You don't need to dot every I and cross every T in order to get your message across. Some careful editing would improve this excellent poem. I was also intrigued by a couple of colloquial expressions which jarred a bit - 'what floored me' and 'kiboshed my contemplations'. Nonetheless, you are certainly a poet worth reading. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

The mirror always has much to say, yet the questions it always asks of the reflection are never easy to answer - you've capture the essence of such a concept - bravo!

This is a great concept on which I read few poems and stories earlier. Well composed. But I felt the poem was stretched too long, with some repitition especially in second stanza. Overall this is a great effort. One of the best poems I ever read. A little economy of words would have made it ever better.
