I like the 'compact' form of this piece. So much expressed in so few, well chosen words. I think it succeeds eloquently in conveying the feelings of the writer.

me too, i enjoyed the flow of this poem.'love that he deserved' and 'love has outwitted him' makes me wonder about the 'man so plain' and his ego. And in a nice way i take issue with a previous poster's 'wonderful and regular guys' No such thing...theres always something going on..under the lonely guy image...trust me on that..
