A Stranger Poem by Thomas Martinez

A Stranger

In all the known and unknown
Life is such a long road to go.
Who knows who will be aboard
Who knows when they'll let you go.

It was in the hour of gold fortune
I stumble upon someone in coincidence
A Soulful smile, a Nobel heart; Christine,
A long lost partner which I reminiscence.

Even we had no common words to speak,
No way to express my mind to deliver
But In her art of Innocence and her colors,
And All my trust needed to break the barrier.

It was her little broken words; I admired
It was her mysterious music; I praised.
Made me forget how distant we are,
Like It was her silence that I have heard.

Yet something was missing as we part,
Hopes were too high for a dumb heart.
It was two worlds, I wanted to combine,
But our differences made it just to collide.

All I was looking for a warm embrace
To remember everyday with your grace
But only find you in my failed chase
Now I have only become a stranger's face.
