This poem is brilliant and beautiful. That third stanza is especially magnificent. I am struck by the imagery that reminds us that the act of writing is akin to an act of labour. All stories must be moulded, mined, chiselled, carved....And then I am reminded of the darkness, or Darkness, the void....and then came the word, and the light... I can see that miner and hat you mention. Well done!
