A Stary Night Poem by Tina Baaklini

A Stary Night

My love,

My eyes wander ahead
On your shoulder, rests my head
The sea stretches at our sight
Stillness prevails on this stary night

I indulge my heart with the sight of your face
Your eyes embrace me with their look
The stars watch us from the sky
But all I see is your tender eyes

I look at the moon floating on the sea
Then at the waves hugging the shore
As a longing lover after a long journey
Dies in the arms of its beloved

Fixing my eyes on the horizon
I see a flickering light
Maybe a lost ship looking for a beacon
Here we are, ready to sail on a love boat
With our soul as our sole beacon
