A Star's Light Poem by Christopher Cariad

A Star's Light

God told me that one day,
He was going to make me into a star.
So I looked up to the sky and said it will be done,
I'll be a twinkling light in the skies above.
I shall shine the brightest of lights
upon this planet, earth,
and help them be guided in Your ways.
I will be a fiery ball of gas,
Always burning for You,
Shall I never burn cold.
