Dear Ernestine Well, at last I've found you.I knew that our passion for such matters as life was simular. After reading your poem on A Star Is Born I can see that I have alot to learn from you. You have a depth of feeling that transends the ordinary into the moving. Brilliant! Something to aspire to.Thankyou
Good, well-written story. The poetic power here comes from the economy of language and the well-drawn plot-line. As the poem suggests, it takes self-assurance & courage to step in & take action for a 'star' to be born. We all have the power to be stars, if not in the public eye, to be so in our pesonal lives. The qualities we exhibit in our everyday actions are the ones that make us stars. Very good write, Ernestine, thanks for sharing it with us.
Excellent. (That is all I wanted to say but the computer shouted at me: 'Please enter at least 20 characters in the 'YOUR COMMENT' field'. But what further comment is necessary?)
We are rarely at the birth of a star or a falling comet, and your poem describes the moment delightfully. Also there's a biblical resonance in the little voice from somewhere. Where is that child now?
cool poem my friend and thanks for all the comments.
What a lovely story, thank you for sharing. Andrew x
