A Stag Night's Deathdream Poem by Raj Dronamraju

A Stag Night's Deathdream

There's nothing wrong with two men dancing together
Check your masculinity and have a good time
When no one wants you, a piece of you dies
It comes back to life when you forget about it and jump around like an idiot

There's nothing wrong with acknowledging the unfriendliness of the women here
They won't dance with you if asked (or not asked)
They won't talk to you if you dare approach them

So we'll forget about this night as anything serious
Men like us do not deserve their attentions
They crawl among a very select few candidates
And they take advantage of ladies night for free drinks

A semi-aroused Jesus ministering to a porn star does his duty
We'll take a break from the killing floor of biological ugliness
We'll die in discomfort's illusion one day
But tonight we boogie outside the limits sex places on us
